The "Museum of tap and its technology" San Maurizio d'Opaglio, is unique in the world, and it addresses the fascinating topic of atavistic suffered from man's relationship with water in a location from which the path of humanity emerges from an unusual point of view: the history of hygiene and technological innovations (including taps and valves are critical components) that have allowed to dominate the liquid element, transforming the care of the body of a practical luxury for the few to a mass phenomenon. The project museum will then trace the social history of water and innovations that have allowed to dominate the liquid element, transforming the care of the body from an elite practice in mass phenomenon and resulting in the rise of the industrial district of the faucet and valves in Cusio.
